
Get the skills you need to succeed in a challenging and rewarding career. Ontario G license holders wanting to obtain AZ license will have to successfully complete the mandatory entry-level training course (MELT) before attempting their Class A Road Test
MELT (MANDATORY ENTRY LEVEL TRAINING) CERTIFIED
Approved as a Vocational Program under Ontario Career Colleges, Act 2005.
- 103.5 hours of training over 5 weeks.
- 37 Hours: In–Class Training
- 17 Hours: In yard training including Vehicle Inspection Activities.
- 50 Hours: One-on-One, on-road and off-road Behind the Wheel Training.
Master the Basic Skills:
Techniques including: – driving in traffic, backing and parking, defensive driving, speed control, braking, steering control and reverse parking.
Learn advanced skills: left right turns and lane change in heavy traffic & Driving in bad weather. experienced instructors.
Admission Requirements
- Minimum 18 years of age
- Valid Ontario Class ‘G’ License or higher
- OSSD Grade 12 Diploma (or higher), or Proof of Grade 10 English Equivalency, or Wonderlic Test
- MTO approved Medical Form Completed
- Pass A Knowledge Test (Rules of the Road and Signs)
